The Canon EOS 60Da replaces Canon's earlier astronomy DSLR the 20da, and it features an 18 megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor and can be mounted to telescopes with an adapter.
Canon has announced a brand spanking new version of their 60D DSLR, the Canon EOS 60Da which is specifically designed for astronomers, and it features a modifies infrared filter and a low noise sensor.
On the back of the Canon EOS 60Da is a three inch one,040,00 dot LCD display, and it comes with a Live View view mode and a bundles AVC-DC400ST stereo AV video cable so you can hook it up to an outside display.
The Canon EOS 60Da will go on sale in the US for $1,499.
